Green Oxidative Catalytic Processes for the Preparation of APIs and Precursors

Asymmetric oxidation processes have constituted a valuable tool for the synthesis of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), especially preparation optically sulfoxides, compounds with interesting biological properties. Classical approaches these oxidative procedures usually require application non-sustainable conditions that employ hazardous reagents and solvents. In last decades, chemists tried to combine high yields selectivities development more sustainable protocols.
